Can I restrict a Resources Center card to just a particular Tag group?

Some information in the the Resources Center of your App may not apply to all users; you may have contracts or forms that you only want certain people to see. In the Admin Hub, you can apply Tags to target that info to a particular audience.

How to Create a Resources Center Card and Restrict It to a Specific Tag.

1. Create the card in the Resources Center 0:00

  • Open the Resources Center and start creating a new card.
  • Add the basic card details:
    • Name
    • Image
  • Choose the card type:
    • External redirection if the card should send users to a website
    • Internal content if the content will live inside the app

2. Set the audience to a subset instead of everyone 0:29

  • Go to the Audience section of the card.
  • By default, the card is set to publish to all people.
  • To limit access, select Publish to a subset.
  • Choose the tag that represents the group you want to see the card.
  • You can also use this method to publish content only to yourself for previewing.

3. If you don't already have a Tag created. Here's how  to create a tag for the specific group 0:45

  • Go to My People.
  • Open My Tags.
  • Click Add New Tag.
  • Create a tag for the group you want to target, such as an admin tag.
  • Save the tag.

4. Add people to that tag 1:04

  • Return to My People.
  • Open the profile of the person you want to add.
  • Click Edit.
  • Scroll to My Tags.
  • Select the tag you created.
  • Save the changes.
  • Repeat for each person who should have access.

5. Publish the card to that tag 1:28

  • Go back to your card in the Resources Center.
  • Under Audience, choose Publish to a subset.
  • Select the tag you created.
  • Save the card.
  • Only people in that tag will be able to open the card and access the linked content.

6. Confirm the restricted access works 1:50

  • Test the card as a tagged user.
  • Verify that only members of the selected tag can tap the card and reach the link or content.
  • This is useful for:
    • Forms
    • Contracts
    • Previewing content before publishing to everyone
